Formed in Aberdeen The Needles the band are made up of school friends Paul Curtiss and Dave Dixon with brothers Richey and Johnny Wolfe. They relocated to Glasgow, where their pop punk rhythms saw them become part of the same scene as Shitdisco and Franz Ferdinand.

Their first single Teenage Bomb captured their short, straightforward style, follow up Under The City EP sold out quickly next EP 1235 gained them even more attention.

Their album ‘In Search of The Needles’ came out in 2006 and they earned themselves a support slot with Muse. They are set to play Oxjam and are continuing to tour around the UK and bringing their excitable punk pop madness to the masses.
