Rock mag announces 2004 nominations

Kerrang magazine has announced the nominations for 2004’s awards ceremony billed as a “the most star-studded and debauched event ever”. Gongs are on the cards for Yourcodenameis:milo, Minus, Ash, The Distillers, Muse, Funeral for a Friend and Metallica amongst others.

The rock mag announced the awards on Tuesday (24/08) at Virgin’s Oxford Street Megastore. This year a new award The Kerrang! Icon Award is to honour bands who have been a massive influence to the world of rock and metal.

The awards will be presented by ex-Stereophonics drummer Stuart cable at a ceremony held today (26/08) at a secret London location.
