Lil’ Jon has drafted in an all-star cast to feature on his crunk rock album – deftly titled ‘Crunk Rock.’

The likes of The Game, Ice Cube, Ciara, R Kelly, P.O.D. and Kid Rock will all be appearing on the long-player which will be released before the year is out.

The concept of the album is that it is merger of rock and hip-hop styles, utilising the different styles of the guest contributors.

Reflecting on the album, Lil’ Jon told Billboard:  "I worked with the guitar player from P.O.D., Marcos, a punk band called Whole Wheat Bread from Jacksonville, Fla., Kid Rock and a few others.

"My shit is real rock guitars with my beats, not keyboard guitars with ghetto beats. It's gonna be a little different from what you hear right now, but I think everyone will love it."
