The legendary Siouxsie Sioux and The Magic Numbers are set to play at two very, very special shows this autumn as part of The Coke Music Discovery Sessions.
On September 28, Siouxsie Sioux will perform a set at the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris, while The Magic Numbers will play at the Frikirkjan church in Reykjavik on October 19. A third event will be held in Athens in November, featuring an as-yet-unannounced big name headliner.
As part of Coca-Cola’s incentive, the famous brand is looking for unsigned bands to play at these once in a lifetime shows.
Each of the headline acts will be pick their favourite acts from the www.coke.com/music website. A panel of industry experts from the European Coke grassroots programme including Eddy Temple Morris and famous French journalist Jean Daniel Beauvallet – will also have their say.
Siouxsie Sioux said of her show: “Supporting unsigned talent and playing such an iconic location as the Eiffel Tower instantly appealed to me. I’ve always had a personal interest in helping great new music get heard, and this gig provides the perfect opportunity to do just that.”
Tickets are available across 18 different European countries and via a series of exclusive competitions.
