The Rolling Stones have quashed rumours that they will be joining Led Zeppelin at their one-off reunion show.
Speculation that frontman Mick Jagger and drummer Charlie Watts would make a guest appearance with the band at the O2 Arena on December 10th began to circulate earlier this week.
In a statement, however, the pair have ruled out teaming up with the band.
"Contrary to media speculation, Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts will not be participating in any way at the Led Zeppelin concert in December, but wish them well for a great gig," the statement read.
Confirmed guests for the Led Zeppelin concert include The Who’s Pete Townshend and Paolo Nutini with Bill Wyman with The Rhythm Kings.
Jagger was first linked with the show when plans for the concert were first unveiled because of Wyman’s presence at the event.
