More Oxegen Festival
Kings Of Leon have been unveiled as the first confirmed band for the 2008 Oxegen Festival.
The American band topped people’s dream line-up in a vote held by the festivals organisers.
On hearing the news, Kings Of Leon frontman Caleb Followill, said: “We love playing in Ireland, the fans are brilliant and we can’t wait to play Oxegen 2008.”
Meanwhile, a limited number of early-bird tickets for the 2008 edition of Oxegen will go on sale on Friday (November 30th) at this year’s prices.
Unlike the 2007 festival, next year’s event at Punchestown in Dublin will be a three day event.
