Edwyn Collins' New 'Gay Abandon'

Rejuvinated singer Edwyn Collins is now facing life "with gay abandon" after beating his near fatal brain haemorrages.

The ex-Orange Juice frontman is looking forward to touring his new album 'Home Again' this year after suffering two haemorrhages in 2005, as well as super-bug MRSA, which left him having to re-learn how to talk, read and write.

He tells the Daily Record, "It's exciting times. I used to analyse and reflect on my life. But illness left me in a corner. Now I do everything with gay abandon."
