Clearly revelling in the demise of TVT Records, Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor took a swipe at the label on his website yesterday.

Under the title ‘You’re gonna get yours’, the post simply reads: “Not ALL news in the music industry is bad these days’ with a link to a story about the collapse of TVT.

Reznor famously fell out several times with the his former label, including feuds over album producers, single releases and more pressingly the royalties from the ten song EP ‘Head Like A Hole’ in 1990.

In 1992, Reznor reached an agreement with TVT that he could move to another label while still paying a small amount of proceeds.

TVT officially announced that it will be filing for bankruptcy after 23 years in business yesterday. The label is currently home to the likes of The Polyphonic Spree, The Holloways, Lil Jon, Ambulance LTD and Pitbull.
