More Scouting For Girls Scouting For Girls have been forced to cancel four dates on their UK tour because of illness.
A show in Reading tonight (April 1st) and the band’s three night residency at the Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London have all been postponed.
In a statement, singer Roy Stride said that he was suffering from laryngitis – which forced the cancellation of a show in Birmingham on Sunday (March 30th).
"I cannot physically speak. My mouth moves but nothing comes out. It is the weirdest, scariest feeling in the world, and has never happened to me before,” he said.
"I want to apologise to everyone for the short notice of the Birmingham gig cancellation. If there was anything I could have done, I would have done it.”
The band will pick up their UK tour again in Bristol on Sunday (April 6th). The cancelled dates are expected to be rescheduled.
