Roger Waters: 'Ghastly Hillary Clinton Will Invade Iran' Add to My Fav Bands List

Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters has attacked democratic hopeful Hillary Clinton – calling the senator from New York “ghastly”.

Waters, who admits to being a fan of Clinton’s rival for the democratic nomination, Barack Obama, said that Clinton would invade Iran if she was elected America’s next president.

“I was so disappointed the other night when the ghastly Hillary got Texas and kept the whole thing going," he told the Independent.

"Please God, let's not have this woman! Hillary will want to make her mark and show that she can be just as good as a male president, and she will ****ing invade Iran.

“Trust me. She voted to declare the Iranian Republican Guard a terrorist organisation!"

Despite being ineligible to vote, Waters, who lives in New York, said he would “buy a whole page in The New York Times” in order to “fly Obama's flag”.

“But I would be terribly afraid they'd go, 'This is that pinko shitbag who's attacking our President in time of war',” he added.

Clinton and Obama next face off against each other in the Philadelphia primary on April 22nd.

The eventual winner of the democratic nomination will go head-to-head with Republican John McCain in the battle to become the country’s president in November.

  • Now I truly understand the meaning of British tabloid reporting. It is interesting that the Brits, at least as represented through online coverage, lately have taken to be overtly Clinton-bashing and Obama-worshipping. All I can think of is that race relationships in England is not so rosy - the Brits think that by supporting Obama across the ocean, they can assuage their own guilt feelings. Kind of like Obama giving a speech about the Iraq war when he had no responsibility for decision making.

  • Barack Obama is a bit ghastly in foreign affairs - his involvement in Kenya exacerbated the situation ending in violence. Sigh. Noone can predict what decisions a candidate will have to make. The way Barack Obama has run his past/present campaign is scary - dirty chicago-politics. What makes people think he is such a nice guy and will not invade a country?

  • I am a huge fan of Pink Floyd. I personally like Obama and am against the Iran invasion. But what the fudge does it matter if I am a Russian citizen living outside of the US?! Now, Roger goes even farther and wants to crap all over the hotel where he is staying is merely a guest. Either get a US passport and vote or restrict your comments to Gordon Brown’s policies. Show respect to your host.
