Duffy’s debut album ‘Rockferry’ has topped 1 million in sales, despite being released just over a month ago.

The soul singer’s debut LP only hit British record shop shelves on 3 March, but has already gone double platinum.

However, the 1 million worldwide sales are set to explode again next month when the album is released in America.

Duffy played at the recent SXSW festival, and has also played sold out shows in New York and Toronto.

Just to reconfirm people’s taste... very average, and not sophisticated. Duffy=Mercy. Mercy, please, take that record! Mercy is the only song you can listen to, so why make an album full of fillers? Awful album, great voice. Perhaps she should sing covers.
