Pictures from a magazine, which apparently show the full line up for this years Glastonbury Festival, have appeared online.
The photos are allegedly from next month’s Q Magazine, which is released on May 1st.
The alleged line up says that opening night headliners Kings of Leon will be joined by The Fratellis and Editors, while Saturday headliner Jay-Z will perform before a ‘very special guest TBC’.
The Raconteurs, Crowded House and Seasick Steve are also due to perform on the Pyramid Stage on Saturday (June 28th).
The closing day will apparently see Leonard Cohen and Goldfrapp join previously announced headliners The Verve.
According to the pictures, The Other Stage will be headlined by Panic At The Disco, Massive Attack and Groove Armada.
Elbow, We Are Scientists and Pigeon Detectives are also set to play the festival’s second biggest stage.
As previously reported, the popular John Peel Stage will feature headlining performances from Jaime T, Biffy Clyro and The National.
The full line up for this years Glastonbury Festival, which takes place from June 27th-29th, will be announced on May 1st.
What do you think of the supposed line up? Leave a comment below and let us know...
- i love glastonbury, and have been to the past 5 offerings. i am also going this year but i am not very impressed by the line up for the festival. i do feel that the booker (emily e) is underestimating the festival and the acts that it would be able to attract. some of the acts that are quite high up on the appearance list would only get placed on the start of the bill at most high profile festivals i feel.
i just really hope that the stages that have not been announced contain some decent acts
- I don’t think you can squarely blame the organisers for the line-up (Glasto has never really been all about the music though, leave that to the others!!). My humble thoughts on this is that there are so many festies these days that organisers are having a rough time booking acts now that the time frame that they can play isn’t so restricted. Back in the day, there were only a couple of festivals, now there’s likely to be one every week!!!
- AHHH, u be right. there are far too many festivals these days. at my last count there was 161 in the uk this year. could be more now.
in regards to the released glasto line up .. the john orange peel stage looks rather interesting.
also on a sep note, i was really looking forwad to seeing portishead again, as they ’were’ rumoured to be headlining it this yeah. but this is apparantly not happening. :(
- Hmm, line up looks good to me - but it’s hard to distringuish between a lot of festivals and the line-ups agreed. Portishead would have been cracking.
- For the past few years I have gon to Glasto thinking ”I’m not really fussed about the line up” Same this year! but I bet I still have the time of my life again!!!!
