A new 3G version of Apple’s iPhone will be available from next month, according to technology blog Gizmodo.
The updated model is expected to be unveiled at Apple’s WWDC Keynote on June 9th.
However, unlike previous reports, it’s thought that the phone will be available as soon as it’s unveiled and not at the end of the year.
It’s thought that the new iPhone will feature all of the current models existing features only with a 3G interface.
Gizmodo reports that the 3G iPhone will no longer be available at a fixed price point, opening it up to potential new markets in Europe.
Apple have been under pressure to unveil a second generation model that offers a faster internet connection and more business features.
The company believe they are still on track to achieve their target of selling 10million iPhone’s by the end of 2008, with current figures at 5.4million.
