Fall Out Boy have recorded a song for the forthcoming album from US rapper T.I., it's been revealed.
The track, which is tentatively entitled 'Out In The Cold', has been described by Fall Out Boy's bassist Pete Wentz as "something from The Nightmare Before Christmas".
Lyrically the song directly addresses T.I.'s arrest on weapon's charges last October, which came hours before his scheduled appearance at the BET awards.
Police claim they found weapons during a search of the rapper's property and car.
In 'Out In The Cold', he raps: "Biggie and 'Pac's murders still unsolved/ And you wonder why I got 'em in the car and the trunk."
According to MTV, the song also sees Fall Out Boy's Patrick Stump sing an autobiographical hook.
"I drink to forget/ I write so I never will/ Curse myself/ Down and out for all time/ I'm always leaving you high and dry/ I'm always leaving you out in the cold," he sings.
A spokesperson for the rapper confirmed that the song was being considered for T.I.'s new album, 'Paper Trail', which is due to be released in September.
