Lebanese singer Suzan Tamim may have held a party in her home in Dubai shortly before she was brutally murdered, new reports claim.
Tamim's body is said to have been discovered on Monday (July 28th) with multiple stab wounds and a mutilated face.
Although police have yet to comment on the reports, various Middle Eastern news agencies report that a private party took place in Tamim's home in the exclusive Jumeira district of the city on Sunday evening.
Shortly after the party ended in the early hours of Monday morning a man demanded to be given the number of the singer's apartment, according to The National.
Tamim shot to fame after winning a talent show in her home country in 1996 and was widely praised for having the ability to sing both pop and traditional Arabic songs.
But her life became shrouded in mystery, with much debate centred on her relationship with her estranged second husband, Adel Maatouk.
It's understood that she left Cairo in 2007 to move to the exclusive Jumeira district in Dubai.
