US rapper Lil' Wayne has assured his fans that his daughter is healthy and well after a number of websites claimed she had died in a car accident.
“Please allow me to dispel any rumours or speculations and report that my daughter is alive, healthy and surrounded by family who care and love her dearly,” the rapper said.
Reports claiming that the rapper's 8-year-old daughter, Reginae Carter, had died in a car accident began circulating online yesterday (August 11th).
It's thought the rumour stemmed from a post on the rapper's website.
In a statement, Lil Wayne hit out at publications that had carried the story, calling the rumours “completely false and unfounded”.
“Neither Reginae nor any other member of my family has been involved in any car accident.
“My family and I truly appreciate the concern and support shown to us,” he added.

- It doesn’t matter if you think he is too young, you are missing the point somebody spreaded a ugly and disturbing rumor about his daughter, that is a violation of privacy and a direct disrespect to Lil Wayne. To all the sick people in this world and the ones that come to this website really need to seek professional help.
