Paul McCartney: 'I'd Love To Reunite With Ringo Starr'
Sir Paul McCartney has said he would “love” to perform once again with his former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr.
During an appearance on US television, Sir Paul revealed that other commitments had so far prevented a collaboration.
Sir Paul and Starr, the only two surviving members of the Beatles, last performed together in the 1990s.
When asked if the pair would reunite again, Sir Paul replied: “Yeah I would love to. We do things from time to time together – it doesn't always come up.
“Sometimes he'll be on tour when I'm not. But we don't rule it out, it'd be great. He's a great drummer and we're used to each other.”
“Lets hear it for Ringo,” Sir Paul added.
The pair briefly came together in 1994 along with former Beatles guitarist George Harrison, who died in 2001, to record additional music from John Lennon's home recordings.
The songs appeared on a three-part ' Anthology' series of CDs that were released in 1995 and 1996
