U2 Shovel New York Snow Before David Letterman Appearance Add to My Fav Bands List

U2 shovelled snow outside the stage door at the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York yesterday (March 2nd) ahead of their appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman.

The Irish group, who began a five night run on the programme, entertained fans with the small clean-up operation.

Unseasonably heavy snow blanketed much of the upper-east coast of America yesterday, with upwards of five inches falling in New York City.

U2 kicked off their Late Show residency with a performance of 'Breathe' - a track from their latest album 'No Line On The Horizon'.

The group are expected to continue previewing the record throughout the week.

As previously reported on Gigwise, singer Bono revealed last Friday that the band planned to begin a world tour in “early summer”.

He also said the group were working on recession-friendly ticket prices.
