- More Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson's father, Joseph, has again claimed “foul play” was involved in his son's death last month.
In an interview with ABC News, Joseph said: "I just couldn't believe what was happening to Michael. I do believe it was foul play. I do believe that. Yes."
It is the second time Jackson's father has made the allegation.
A post-mortem carried out a day after Jackson's death on June 25 ruled that there was no foul play or evidence of external trauma.
But a cause of death was deferred pending the results of toxicology tests, which could take up to six weeks.
Joseph Jackson believes "foul play" was involved in his son's death.
As Gigwise reported earlier, police investigating Jackson's death have yet to rule out homicide.
Chief William Bratton, who is leading the investigation, said a cause of death would be “very dependent” on the test results.
Meanwhile, Jackson's father also told ABC that his lasting memory of his son would be that he was “the greatest entertainer that ever lived”.
Joseph, who was accused of beating Jackson as a child, added: "They only come along once in a lifetime - and he was it."
Jackson's life was remembered at an emotional memorial service in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
