A U2 gig in California this weekend will be streamed live on YouTube, the band have confirmed.
The Irish group's manager Paul McGuiness says they want to “extend the party beyond the stadium” when they play the Pasadena Rose Bowl on Sunday (October 25).
The show is the second to last of U2's live dates in 2009 and can be viewed in 16 countries via YouTube around the globe – including America, the UK and Australia.
Speaking to the BBC, Paul McGuiness said: "Fans often travel long distances to come to see U2 - this time U2 can go to them, globally."
He added that Bono and co. had "wanted to do something like this for a long time".
