The Strokes and Jay-Z are set to headline next year's Isle of Wight festival, it's been announced.
The festival, which runs from Friday June 11-13, will also feature performances from Blondie, Orbital and Pink.
Jay-Z will headline the opening night of the festival, while The Strokes will close the main stage on the second day.
The festival is the New York band's first confirmed date since 2006 and has increased speculation they will release a new album next year.
Organiser John Giddings said: "Ever since I heard the first Strokes album, I've wanted them for the Isle of Wight.
“Jay-Z and Pink are two of the best live acts I have ever seen and the Blondie hits speak for themselves. I can't wait.”
The ninth edition of the festival, which takes place on Seaclose Park, will also feature Squeeze.
Tickets for the event go on sale on Friday (December 4). For more details check out Gigwise Gig Tickets.
