Lil' Wayne shot nine music videos in 48 hours last weekend in anticipation for his sentencing on gun possession charges.
The rapper, whose sentencing has now been postponed until next month, began filming at 9am on Friday and finished at 8pm on Sunday.
The shoot included videos for songs from Lil' Wayne's recent album 'Rebirth', forthcoming record 'Tha Carter IV' and a compilation LP by his record label, Cash Money.
Director David Rousseau told MTV the rapper was trying to ensure that his exposure remains high when he's behind bars.
"We knew what our deadline was. We're trying to get maximum coverage for Wayne,” he said.
“Most of the time we only shot Wayne's verses — we'll finish the rest of the videos off in the next couple of weeks.”
As Gigwise reported earlier, Lil' Wayne's sentencing was postponed yesterday so the rapper could finish a string of dental surgeries on his teeth.
Lil' Wayne, who real name is Dwayne Carter, will now be sentenced on March 2. He faces one year in prison.
