Lady Gaga has been sued for $35million by a former boyfriend and music producer who claims he has been squeezed out of the star's career.
In a lawsuit filed in a Manhattan state court, Rob Fusari alleged that he had helped write some of the singer's songs, including the number one hit 'Paparazzi'.
Fusari, whose relationship with the star ended as she found fame, also said he came up with Lady Gaga's stage name and helped her secure a record contract.
The music producer has a credit on the singer's debut album 'The Fame', but claims he has been denied his full share of royalties.
According to the Associated Press, these include a 20 percent share of song royalties and 15 percent of merchandising revenue.
A well-known songwriter, Fusari's credits include 'Bootylicious' by Destiny's Child and Will Smith's 'Wild, Wild West'.
