Police raided N-Dubz' tour bus at the weekend following complaints that rappers Dappy and Frazer were firing paintball pellets at fans.
Officers confiscated five toy guns from the vehicle, which was parked outside the Academy venue in Newcastle.
Fans are understood to have complained to police after they were hit by pellets as they queued to enter the gig.
A witness told The Sun newspaper that the two rappers, who are said to have bought the guns earlier in the day, were firing “wildly” at fans.
"They thought it was hilarious - but the police took a decidedly dimmer view,” the source said.
A police spokesperson confirmed that officers had boarded the bus and confiscated several toy weapons. No further action was taken.
