Outkast star Big Boi has admitted that the their new album is “brewing”, but refused to reveal any more details.
The duo, which also features rapper Andre 3000, haven’t released a joint studio collaboration since 2006’s ‘Idlewild’.
However, Big Boi told the BBC that they were working together again, but that it was “all top secret information right now”.
“We can’t let people know what we’re doing,” he said, adding: “You better know that something is brewing."
In December, Big Boi suggested that Outkast’s next record would arrive after his new solo album, ‘Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty’.
Discussing his album, which is not yet completed, the rapper told DJ Zane Lowe that it featured two appearances from Andre 3000.
He said his Outkast partner had produced one track which he described “crazy, bananas”.
