Eminem has announced plans to release a new album this summer.
‘Recovery’, which is the follow-up to 2009’s ‘Relapse’, will be released on June 22.
The rapper had initially planned to release a sequel to ‘Relapse’, but Eminem said yesterday that the idea had started to make “less and less sense”.
“The music on ‘Recovery’ came out very different from ‘Relapse’, and I think it deserves its own title,” he added in a statement.
‘Recovery’ features collaborations with a host of big names, including DJ Khalil, Just Blaze, Jim Jonsin and Boi-1da.
Eminem is expected to perform songs from the record when he headlines Dublin’s Oxegen and the T in the Park festival in Scotland in July.
