Fans of Whitney Houston have compared the singer’s performance at London’s O2 Arena on Sunday (April 25) to “bad karaoke”.
Gigwise has been inundated by complaints from concertgoers, many of whom have raised questions about the star’s health.
It follows reports that “hundreds” of concertgoers left the gig early over Houston’s poor vocal performance.
At one point, the 46-year-old singer is said to have apologised to fans after struggling through ‘I Will Always Love You’.
JC, who was at the concert, told Gigwise: ”It was like being in a bad karaoke bar on a Saturday night.
“If she is genuinely ill then her management team should cancel the gigs and give people their money back - don't let her become a laughing stock like last night.
“It was embarrassing to watch and painful to listen to. An absolute disgrace.”
Another fan, Tracy, said: “She was so rubbish. At one point I was in hysterics. Not worth the money.
“She looked knackered after the first song and her voice was a complete joke. Shes finished!”
Peter, who said he felt entitled to a refund, said it was “the worst gig I have ever been to”, and that 25 per cent of the audience had left “by halfway point”.
The complaints come just a week after fans voiced similar grievances over the singer’s performance at a gig in Birmingham.
Houston’s inconsistent performances on her Nothing But Love world tour have already triggered a huge backlash from fans.
The singer is due to perform at the O2 Arena again tonight (April 26) and on Wednesday (28).

The 50 Most Disastrous Gigs Ever:
- i went last night to this concert, and thought she did quite well, she struggled getting a few notes on a few songs but her voice has changed so she has altered the way she performs some of her songs.i did not leave unhappy,i thought she gave her best.give her a break,i would say, that 12 percent of the audience left 5 minutes from the end.i did not hear any booing.and would go see her again
- I was so sad for her , the last time i saw her in concert was in 1999.
It so strange to see her changed this much, in this concert.
The timbre is gone, she coughs and she seems tired.
Drugs most have destroyed her vocal chords, hope it can be repaired to some degree.
Whitney don't continue the tour but see a doctor to get your voice 'fixed'!
- I was there as well!
Maybe you are on the same stuff as her??
It was a complete shambles!!!

- I was at the concert, in the first tier. I am glad that I got the chance to see a mega superstar like Whitney, but I am sad to see where she has fallen to. Clearly she is not fit for singing at present, and should try to maintain her dignity by not doing these concerts for another year, after she's done some serious vocal re-training. I wish I did not go, so that I could just say that the media was being harsh, but in this case they are very accurate.
