Download Festival booker Andy Copping says he'd be happy to book Dizzee Rascal for the festival.

The Live Nation promoter even says he'd re-book Lethal Bizzle at the festival despite the rapper being pelted by yoghurts at the rock event in 2008.

“People have said to me 'would you have Dizzee Rascal?' and you know what? I would have Dizzee Rascal!,” Copping told Metal Hammer.

“That might wind people up but I would take Dizzee Rascal, absolutely. That might be controversial but of course I’d book Dizzee Rascal!”

He continued: “Would I book Lethal Bizzle again? 100%, I’d book him again. The Prodigy are welcome back any year, Pendulum are welcome back any year, you have to open things up.

“Unfortunately, in 2010, I haven’t been able to hook anybody but there will be bands like that in the future.”

Held at Donington Park on June 11th to the 13th 2010, Download Festival is headlined by AC/DC, Rage Against The Machine and Aerosmith.

It also features performances from  the likes of Them Crooked Vultures, Deftones, Stone Temple Pilots, Bullet For My Valentine, Stone Sour, Megadeth, Motorhead, Slash, HIM, Airbourne, Steel Panther, Billy Idol, Lamb Of God, Volbeat and Five Finger Death Punch.
