Ronnie Wood has revealed that Slash and Noel Gallagher have both asked to perform with The Faces.
Wood said the guitarists were among a host of acts who would join the recently reunited band when they return to the road this summer.
“We’ve had Noel Gallagher, Kelly Jones from the Stereophonics, Chris Robinson from the Black Crows,” the guitarist told the BBC.
“There’s loads of people who have said ‘Oh please let’s sing with you’. And Slash is going to help us on guitar when he can fit in between his promotions.”
Wood also revealed that his son Jesse would perform with the group, who have reformed with Mick Hucknall replacing original vocalist Rod Stewart to play Vintage At Goodwood in August.
During the interview, Wood also admitted that The Faces were set to tour next January, and that the door remained open for Stewart to return as singer.
The Faces, whose hits included 'Stay With Me', split in 1975.
