Lady Gaga Admits She Tested 'Borderline Positive' For Lupus Add to My Fav Bands List

Lady Gaga has admitted that she has tested “borderline positive” for the connective tissue disease lupus.

The singer told Larry King that she had no symptoms of the illness, but that she had to take care of herself.

King asked Lady Gaga about lupus after she revealed in a recent newspaper interview that the genetic disease was in her family.

"Lupus is in my family and it's genetic, and it's funny 'cause my mother told me the other day that my fans were quite worried about me because I did talk about the fact that I was tested for lupus,” she said.

“And the truth is I don't show any signs, any symptoms of lupus, but I have tested borderline positive for the disease.

“So as of right now, I don't have it. But I do have to take good care of myself," the singer told King.”

Lady Gaga also revealed during the interview that she had been asked to open for Michael Jackson at his ill-fated comeback gigs in 2009.
