Coldplay Allow Their Songs To Appear On Glee

Coldplay have offered some of their songs to the makers of the hit US TV show, Glee.

In April, the band turned down an approach to make a cameo on the show, which tells the story of a fictional high school glee club.

However, Glee's Creator Ryan Murphy said the band had now back-tracked.

"Coldplay called a week ago and said, 'We're sorry, you can have our catalogue',” Murphy told the Hollywood Reporter.

The TV show has already aired special episodes featuring the music of Lady Gaga and Madonna.

Meanwhile, Coldplay are currently recording their as-yet-untitled fifth album.
