Michael Jackson's children have been spending the first anniversary of their father's death in Hawaii.

Prince Michael, 13, Paris Jackson, 11, and Blanket, 7, were spotted enjoying time in the sea and by the pool on Thursday (June 25).

The singer's mother, Katherine, who has sole custody of his children, was also understood to be on the island.

Katherine and the three children are expected to travel to the Jacksons' hometown of Gary, Indiana, later to mark the singer's anniversary, reports the Daily Mail.

Michael Jackson's youngest child Blanket enjoys time in the sea.

Jackson died a year ago today (June 25) following an overdose of a powerful anaesthetic at his home in Los Angeles. He was 50.

Events are planned across the globe, including at the King of Pop's final resting place at Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles.

Gigwise will be bringing you the latest on Michael Jackson's first death anniversary throughout Friday.
