Lil' Wayne Sentenced To Three Years Probation

Lil' Wayne has been sentenced to three years probation after he pleaded guilty to a drugs possession charge.

The rapper was arrested in Arizona in 2008 when police discovered drugs on board his tour bus.

Officers also claimed to have found a 40-calibre pistol, but the charge was dismissed, reports the BBC.

The rapper will begin his probation after completing a current one-year prison sentence in New York for an unrelated gun possession charge.

Despite his incarnation, the rapper has continued to release new material, and last month recorded vocals for one song over the phone.
