Amy Winehouse has recorded a cover of Lesley Gore's hit 'It's My Party' with producer Mark Ronson.
The singer's rendition of the track is set to be included on a forthcoming compilation album curated by Quincy Jones.
Ronson told BBC Newsbeat that Winehouse sounded “brilliant” on the song, which is the first new recording the pair have made together since the singer's 2006 album 'Back To Black'.
"It's quite funny to come off of my album where the whole tag line, or thing we told ourselves, was no covers, no horns and then to do a very Amy sounding record like that,” he said.
As previously reported on Gigwise, Winehouse is understood to be in the middle of recording her follow-up to 'Back To Black'.
Her father Mitch said recently that he expected the album to arrive in time for Christmas.
