Eminem T In The Park 2010 Set 'Delayed By Laser Pen Mob'

Eminem's headline set at T In The Park was delayed after festival-goers were spotted waving laser pens, it's been reported.

Initial tabloid reports claimed the rapper took to the stage 40 minutes late when he refused to walk 40ft in the rain to the main stage.

But it has now emerged that security teams delayed the set in order to find a gang who were seen with four laser pens.

"Eminem was desperate to go onstage but he was held back for his own safety,” a source told the Daily Record.

"Police and security staff are instructed to clamp down heavily on people who arrive with malicious intent."

Eminem eventually thrilled fans with a career-spanning 29 song set, which marked his first full UK appearance in five years.

But he has come under fire from some festival-goers who have claimed he mimed much of his performance.
