A police investigation has been launched after a woman was raped at the Latitude festival in Suffolk.
The 19-year-old teenager was attacked at around 10pm on Thursday (July 15).
She had left her tent to look for a toilet when she asked a group of three or four men for directions.
They then reportedly said they would show her the way before at least one man raped her.
A spokeswoman for Suffolk police told the Telegraph that the victim believed her attacker may have had short dark curly hair.
Police have appeared for witnesses and said they also intended to study CCTV footage.
The incident took place just two hours before Tom Jones opened the festival with a midnight set.
Florence & The Machine, Belle & Sebastian and Vampire Weekend are due to headline this weekend’s event.
