Kings Of Leon have hailed last night’s V Festival in Staffordshire as “the best night ever”.
Drummer Nathan Followill praised fans who watched the US band close the event at Weston Park.
In a post on Twitter, he said: “Staffordshire ya’ll were the shit. Thanks 4 the best night ever. I’m officially on vacation, so the drinks are flowing like booze.”
He later added: “Staffordshire WTF? Ya’ll were beyond amazing. I shall sleep with a smile on my face 2nite.”
Kings Of Leon played a career-spanning set on the main stage, as well as three new songs from their upcoming album ‘Come Around Sundown’.
The band also headlined the Chelmsford leg of V Festival on Saturday (August 21).
