Enter Shikari have revealed to Gigwise that they have started work on their next studio album.
The band, whose last album 'Common Dreads' was released in 2009, went into the studio last month to “test the water” with potential songs.
“We went in there and chucked some ideas down to see what comes out, and it came out really good,” bassist Chris Batten told Gigwise.
The band recorded a new song, entitled 'Destablise', during the sessions, which will be released as a one-off single.
Batten admitted that they were looking forward to starting work on their new album proper.
“We've still got a load of ideas that we half worked on in the last album and new ideas, so we're not worried at all about the amount of material we've got," he said.
“We're just excited about getting in there and having the time to experiment really.”

The band are scheduled to embark on a US tour this autumn before returning to the UK in December to support 30 Seconds To Mars.
