Lady Gaga stole the show at last night’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) in Los Angeles, picking up eight awards.
The singer, who was nominated for a record-breaking 13 prizes, won Video Of The Year and Best Female Video for ‘Telephone’.
Lady Gaga wore several different outfits to collect each award, but admitted a the end: "I didn't quite think through all the wins.”
Eminem also won two awards - Best Male Video and Best Hip-Hop Video - for ‘Not Afraid’.
The rapper had earlier opened the ceremony at the Nokia Theatre, performing ‘Not Afraid’ and ‘Live The Way You Lie’ alongside Rihanna.
Other winners included Justin Bieber, Florence & The Machine and Muse, whose video for ‘Uprising’ won Best Special Effects’.
30 Seconds To Mars, fronted by Jared Leto, won Best Rock Video for ‘Kings And Queens’.
The ceremony also saw performances from Kanye West and Taylor Swift, whose much talked about on stage confrontation dominated last year’s event.
Florence & The Machine, Bieber and Robyn also played live.
