Katy Perry Set To Marry Russell Brand

Katy Perry is set to marry her comedian boyfriend Russell Brand in India.

The couple, who met last year, are expected to tie the knot at a ceremony near Jaipur in Rajasthan
tomorrow (October 23).

Family and friends, included comedian David Baddiel, have made the trip for the wedding, which is reportedly set to span six days.

In a message on Twitter, Perry appealed for privacy, saying it was the “greatest gift you can give us”.

But her calls appear to have been in vain, as much of the world’s media have also assembled in the country for the ceremony.

On Friday (October 22), the Associated Press reported of an alleged incident involving Brand’s security and photographers, including one of their own.

It comes after the comedian-turned-actor was involved in an altercation with a photographer at Los Angeles airport last month.

Perry and Brand began dating shortly after the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2009.
