Bio:
Gorillaz is the brainchild of Blur's Damon Albarn and Tank Girl creator Jamie Hewlett, and are the world's most successful virtual band. They first exploded onto the music scene with single 'Tomorrow Comes Today', which caused a mild buzz. It was their single 'Clint Eastwood', with its amazing music video. Their eponymous debut album was a worldwide smash.
Following the success of their debut, a b-sides album and a remix album followed. Damon Albarn returned to Blur in 2003, putting the project temporarily on hold. When work started again in 2004, he drafted in people such as Danger Mouse, Debbie Harry and Shaun Ryder to help.
Their second album, 'Demon Days' was released in May 2005, with single 'Feel Good Inc' reminding the public how visually and musically impressive this "band" are.
