Lil' Wayne has been released from prison after serving eight months of a one-year sentence for gun possession.
The US rapper left Rikers Island jail in New York this morning (November 4).
Lil' Wayne pleaded guilty to attempted gun possession after police discovered a loaded gun on his tour bus.
The rapper has continued to release new music, despite being behind bars, including the recent album 'I Am Not A Human Being'.
Earlier this week he wrote a letter to fans thanking them for their continued support.
The rapper also admitted that he had “no clue” what to expect when he began his sentence, adding: “I was never scared, worried, nor bothered by the situation.”
Lil' Wayne is expected to join Drake at a gig in Las Vegas on November 6.
