Shaun Ryder: Gillian McKeith Is 'Disgrace To Female Race'

Happy Mondays’ Shaun Ryder has said her thought Gillian McKeith was the “greatest disgrace to the female race” during their time on I’m A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

The singer, who came runner-up on the show behind Stacey Solomon, fell out with the self-styled TV star on several occasions.

In a post-jungle interview with The Sun, he said McKeith made him “crack” because she was “too self-important”.

“She was banging at my head,” he said. "I wanted to rip her head off, set her on fire and bury her in the f*cking jungle."

But Ryder admitted that he did like McKeith, who was voted off earlier in the series.

“Gillian's saving grace is her sense of humour," he said. "Without that she would be f*cked and her own husband would murder her.”
