Former Oasis guitarist has revealed that he has not started work on his debut solo album.
Gallagher was believed to have started laying down demos for the album, which will be his first release since Oasis split in 2009.
But in an interview with talkSPORT, the guitarist said work had yet to get under way and that the album would not be out anytime soon.
“I am not recording new stuff – not just yet – and it will be out when it's finished I guess, well, when I've started it,” he said.
“I'd have thought if anything comes out it will be later rather than sooner.”
Meanwhile, Gallagher's brother Liam's new band Beady Eye release their debut album 'Different Gear, Still Speeding' later this month.
