Lady Gaga Hatches From Egg At Grammy Awards 2011

Lady Gaga stole the show at this year's Grammy Awards, arriving at the Los Angeles ceremony inside an egg.

The singer was transported along the red carpet inside the womb-like structure, which she later emerged from on stage to perform new song 'Born This Way'.

The track, which debuted at the number three on the UK singles chart on Sunday (February 13), is the first to be taken from her new album of the same name.

Lady Gaga went on to win three awards, including Female Pop Vocal Performance for 'Bad Romance' and Best Pop Vocal Album for 'The Fame Monster'.

This year's Grammy Awards were dominated by country act Lady Antebellum, who won five awards.

Arcade Fire were the surprise winners, taking home Album Of The Year for 'The Suburbs'.
