Lily Allen has spoken for the first time about losing her baby last November and revealed that she has also battled an eating disorder.
The singer opened up about her private life in an interview for a new Channel 4 documentary.
Allen miscarried six months into her pregnancy with her and boyfriend Sam Cooper’s first baby last November. It was her second miscarriage.
"It was a really long battle - and I think that kind of thing changes a person,” Allen said during the documentary, Riches To Rags.
Allen also reveals in the documentary, which follows her decision to move from music to opening a fashion store, that she has battled bulimia.
The singer said she regularly used to vomit after eating and it was “not something I’m proud of”.
She added: "I would love to be the skinniest minniest person in the world but I can't do that without being unhappy - I like food.”
Lily Allen: From Riches To Rags starts on March 15 at 10pm on Channel 4.
