Noel Gallagher Reveals Release Date For Solo Album?

Noel Gallagher has announced the release date for his forthcoming solo album.

The former Oasis member announced what is thought to be the release date for his new solo album over his Twitter account.

Noel Gallagher tweeted: ''Single release date: 22.08.2011 and Album release date: 12.09.2011''.

Gallagher was believed to have started laying down demos for the album at the start of the year, which will be his first release since Oasis split in 2009.

The tracklisting for Gallagher's solo album was believed to have been leaked earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Gallagher has reportedly turned down a big money offer to replace Simon Cowell as a judge on The X Factor.
