Lady Gaga Jumps Off Volcano On American Idol Finale

Lady Gaga leapt from a volcano as she performed on the finale of American Idol last night (May 26).

The singer debuted new song 'Marry The Night', which saw her joined by Bruce Springsteen's E Street saxophonist Clarence Clemons.

Lady Gaga spent much of the performance standing on top of the volcano before being joined by a backing dancer. The pair then jumped off together as the song ended.

Lady Gaga's performance came in the same week that she released new album 'Born This Way'.

The finale of American Idol also included an appearance from Beyonce, who performed new song '1+1'.
