Lou Reed has spoken about his forthcoming album with Metallica.
The singer has wrote ten songs with Metallica which will feature on a as-yet-untitled album.
Describing the collaboration, Reed told Rolling Stone: ''A marriage made in heaven. I knew it from the first day we played together, 'Oh, man, this is perfection, right in front of me'.
He added: "They're bringing Metallica, with all that power. And because they're pretty sophisticated, wherever I go, they're still with me."
The album has yet to be given an official release date.
Meanwhile, Metallica will play next month's Sonisphere festival as part of the Big Four, which also includes Slayer, Anthrax and Megadeath.
