Lily Allen Writing Songs For New Bridget Jones Musical

Lily Allen has revealed that she is currently writing songs for the new Bridget Jones' Diary musical.

The singer, who recently married fiancé Sam Cooper, said that the musical will be due out 'sometime next year'.

Speaking about her music Allen told Elle magazine: ''I'm still writing. I'm just writing for other people. I've nearly finished a musical. I think it'll be out sometime next year."

She added: "I can't commit to going on tour for seven months and leaving Sam [new husband Sam Cooper]. I really miss singing my songs to people and seeing the reaction on their faces. It's one of the most special things you can do, or it was for me."
